Story
A shoe theft in the ICE is the prelude to a wild kaleidoscope of relationships and dependencies between different urban people who relish as in a cobweb fidget.
Summary
In the gritty urban landscape of ICE City, a shoe theft sparks an intricate web of relationships and dependencies among its inhabitants. At the heart of this tapestry lies Robert, an amateur beekeeper grappling with his wife Maschjonka's indifference in their cramped terraced housing estate. Their impending move forces him to abandon his bees, leading him to Ecki's Anger Room—a cathartic space where patrons can act out their frustrations by destroying life-sized scenes constructed from everyday props.
Ecki, a former teacher fired for alleged sexual misconduct with a student—Robert's daughter Swentja—the room serves as his therapy. Swentja, bored and curious, finds solace in Mahmud's attentions, despite his meager lifestyle with his younger brother Faisal. Meanwhile, Mahmud harbors resentment against racist policeman Thomas, who once assaulted him, while Thomas struggles to connect with his anxious colleague Carla, haunted by her experiences at a refugee center.
A trivial product dispute escalates into chaos for market leader Uwe, whose wife Julia embraces single life after their divorce. She engages call-boy Vincent, shared with his girlfriend Vivian, who also counts the conflicted teen Johannes among her clients. Johannes pines for Swentja while grappling with his burgeoning sexuality.
As Robert and Ecki forge an unlikely friendship, Robert begins to acknowledge his growing feelings for Ecki, complicating their bond. This complex dance of desire, anger, and loneliness intertwines the lives of ICE City's residents in a wild, unpredictable kaleidoscope.
