Summary
Peter, a young filmmaker, transforms his Wisconsin hometown into cinematic art through his camera lens, escaping from its banality and the chill of isolation. His control over this aesthetic realm is absolute, reducing life's complexities to purified moments frozen in time. Enter Vera, the businessman's daughter, seeking stardom in both Peter's films and affections. But when she vanishes unexpectedly, Peter's creative detachment morphs into obsession, fueled by a scandalous footage that hints at sinister truths. Blurring fiction and reality, Peter investigates alone, ignoring warnings. His mission traps him in Vera's dangerous disappearance, a mystery he can't edit his way out of.
