Story
In a small eel-farming town in western Greece, two women lead isolated lives while yearning for escape. Elisabeth was once an ambitious policewoman forced to relocate from Athens a decade ago, now living a joyless existence. Rita is the enigmatic sister of a local disco singer. When a sudden death disrupts the town and its inhabitants, Elisabeth and Rita, previously unaware of each other's presence, begin to gravitate towards one another. As secrets hidden in the swamps start to surface, they find an opportunity to become each other's saviors.
