Tamayo Otsuki is a Tokyo-born actress and stand-up comedian known for her sharp, cross-cultural humor and acting roles in American television and film. Born on May 29, 1959, she moved to the United States at the age of 15 and quickly established herself in the American comedy scene.
Otsuki became a regular at the renowned Comedy Store, where she blended her Japanese heritage with a raw, American comedic style. A clip of her performance was featured in NBC's 15th Anniversary special of The Comedy Store in 1987.
