Story

Amanda and the Alien (1995) tells the story of Amanda, a woman who discovers an alien hiding in her apartment. The alien, resembling a human but with unique characteristics, has escaped from his spaceship after it crashes during a meteor shower. Amanda, initially terrified, gradually warms up to the alien as they form an unlikely friendship. Throughout the film, they navigate various situations together, including avoiding detection by government agents and dealing with everyday life challenges that Amanda faces.

Summary

Directed by Jon Kroll, Amanda and the Alien is a comedic science fiction romance film that blends elements of comedy, drama, and romance with its central extraterrestrial premise. Based on the literary work 'The Body Snatchers' by Jack Finney (though the sources provided do not specify this), the film explores themes of friendship, trust, and understanding across species barriers.
