Story

Scott, an elderly man married to Kate, much younger than him, dies after suffering a heart attack. Scott returns as a ghost visible only to Kate, determined to be with her again. He convinces Kate to help him possess the body of a young man by causing his accidental death via drowning. Meanwhile, Kate must handle Scott's business affairs, which involve high-stakes deals with Donald Trump and the mob.

Summary

Directed by John Derek in 1990, 'Ghosts Can't Do It' is an absurd blend of genres, including action, comedy, romance, and science fiction. The film centers around an unconventional relationship between Scott, an older man, and Kate, his much younger wife, exploring themes of love, loss, and possession. Despite its unique premise, the plot is primarily focused on the narrative of Scott's return as a ghost and his plan to possess another man's body.
