Terrea Smith is an American actress and producer best known for her prominent roles in the cult classic teen comedies of the 1980s. Born Terrea Lea Oster on March 27, 1953, in Los Angeles County, California, she began her career in the early 1980s.
She gained significant recognition for her performances in the Screwballs film series, appearing as Rhonda Rockett in the original Screwballs (1983) and later as Wendy the Waitress in Screwballs II (1985). Beyond her on-screen presence, Smith also established herself behind the scenes, serving as an associate producer for films like Screwball Hotel (1988) and Recruits (1986). Her filmography also includes roles in Julie Darling (1982), Oddballs (1984), and Flesh Gordon Meets the Cosmic Cheerleaders (1990).
In her personal life, she was married to British-born film producer Maurice Smith. Together, they are the parents of actors Gregory Smith (Small Soldiers, Everwood) and Douglas Smith (Big Love), both of whom followed in their parents' footsteps in the entertainment industry.
